WHO WE ARE

Ashley J Chong is a poet, musician, song-writer, and curator across the arts. She has helped curate an event titled "Memory as Creative Fuel" between the University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program and the International Writing Program and is currently working on a project inspired by Stravinsky's Three Pieces for String Quartet with engineers, artists, and fashion designers. Her chapbook 'A Flower Petal Space' was awarded the Iowa Chapbook Prize and  published by the Magid Centre. She continually strives to participate and encourage collaboration across disciplines.


Gabrielle Kershaw sees art as a way to display the many complicated layers of emotion. She loves using different mediums in her artwork ranging from pen sketching, digital drawing, photography and paint. She finds her inspiration from music, friends, and surroundings. She shares her artwork through instagram @nalim.96   


Jacob Heeren is a lover of sound, emotion, and mathematics. Through his music and visuals, he explores the progression and movement of experience. He intertwines various melodic and harmonic techniques with mathematical ideas and patterns to discover new forms in relation to the human experience. He is currently working on various compositions and two collaborative albums. His work is found on Soundcloud under 'jacobheeren'
